These fabricated pipe shoes are manufactured to support pipes. The pipe shoes are fabricated out of A36 carbon steel with sizes ranging from 12 to 36. They have an overall weight of 134,000 lbs.

Piping Technology and Products, Inc. recently fabricated and designed several sliding cold shoes with lateral restraint for a river site in Georgia. The sliding cold shoes have a frame of A36 carbon steel. These were designed to support pipes of 14 to 36 in diameter, insulated with 4.5 to 5 in thick layers of polyurethane foam.

All of the spring components are made of A4150H and carbon steel. Per customer’s request, a two coat epoxy paint was applied to the springs. The Type-A variable spring assemblies measure 22″ x 79″ with an installed load of 45,000 lb., operating load of 56,000 lb., and a downward travel of 5″. The Type-C assemblies measure 22″ x 89″ with an installation load of 38,000 lb., operating load of 47,000 lb., and a downward travel of 5 1/2″. Each spring coil was tested to insure the wire diameter, coil height, and spring rates.

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. designed and manufactured eight polyurethane pipe rollers for a gas plant in California. These 24 non-conductive pipe rollers are fabricated from polyurethane. They were pre-tested for an operation load of 6,100 lbs. The purpose of these polyurethane pipe rollers is to support gas piping where a non-conductive support is required.

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. custom designed eight cold shoes for a plant in Egypt. The pipe diameters of these shoes range from 10 to 18, and they weigh up to 2300 lbs. These cold shoes were designed to support a vertical cold line. The maximum load for this product is 28,000 lbs. These products were made from Micarta G10, A240 304L and A36.

These constants are manufactured from A36 carbon steel and measure 11″ x 29″ x 61″. Total weight of each constant is 430 lb. The loaded capacity is 2,160 lb. and the maximum travel is 15″. Standard load and travel test were done to ensure quality and performance. The turn around for this product was four days.

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. recently custom designed and fabricated PTP Fig. 200 Constant Hangers for a coker unit in St. Croix.
These supports, with operating loads ranging from 4,000 lb. to 58,000 lb., will be used to support flue gas ducts at the oil refinery. The overall lengths of the Horizontal Constants are 5′ to 7′, and the heights of the Vertical Constants ranged from 4′ to 6′. The combined weight of the constants totaled over 24,000 lb. Color-coded rivets for hot and cold loads and universal locking devices are also installed per customer’s request.

Piping Technology & Products, Inc., recently designed and manufactured fourteen PTP Fig. 2100 Hydraulic Shock Suppressor and pipe hanger assemblies for a Steel Company in North Dakota. The assembly consists of a 12 diameter alloy clamp and a PTP Fig. 2100 Hydraulic Snubber with cylinder size of 3 1/4 diameter and 5 stroke load. They are designed to accommodate loads of 25,000 lb. and high temperatures up to 1,100 F. To ensure the products quality, dimension and movement tests were conducted prior to shipment.
PT&P also designed and manufactured Variables Spring Hangers and various Pipe Supports Assembly Components in a range of different specifications and materials for this project.

These three-bolt and riser clamps, constructed of A36 carbon steel, were custom designed to support up to 26,500 lbs. load. With a weight of 210 lbs. each, they are capable to support both horizontal and vertical piping. To ensure quality, they were inspected for dimensional criteria and visual settlement using a section of a 24” pipe.

The constants‘ dimensions are 25” x 56” with 17” pipe OD, and 29” x 68” with 21” pipe OD. These constants have a loaded capacity of 8,400 to 17,800 lbs. This constant is designed to support piping from below. The tests that were conducted on this product were standard loading and travel testing to ensure quality and performance. The constant is manufactured from A36 carbon steel.
